KINDERGARTEN
The most important period of life is from birth to the age of six where most of the learning happens. Angelians initiate this holistic journey which strives to have a profound effect on the child’s future by providing the right context of learning through the well defined 3H Learning.
The 3H learning is a research based curriculum that links early years to formal education. It covers a robust framework for effective learning, while harnessing a child’s curiosity in an enabled environment.
Our Kindergarten Angelians explore different streams by applying the 3H learning in their day to day learning which perfectly balances child initiated and teacher scaffold activities.
Every month color day or any other special day is celebrated and here kids can learn to identify different colors and its significance. The activities engage them effectively leading to collaborative learning and sharing.
Phonics is an excellent progressive program to teach kids to read using a synthetic phonics approach. This helps the kids to match the sounds of spoken English with individual letters or groups of letters.
Stories help to develop a child's imagination by introducing new ideas into their world – ideas about fantastical worlds, other planets, different points in time and invented characters. It'll encourage the children to realize that they can, and should, imagine anything they want. The story telling sessions go hand in hand with the characters and the fables, bed time stories and fairy tales narrated in the classroom convey the good value systems.
Flashcards are a proven way to teach and train children on various topics of interest, as it relies on the part of the brain that captures and processes visuals. Visual memory is in fact is the strongest part of human memory.
