THE HUMANITY CLUB


The Humanity club aims to encourage students to gain and develop knowledge, conceptual understanding, research skills, analytical and interpretive skills, and communication skills, contributing to the development of the student as a whole. The club creates wider contexts to study individuals, societies and environments in historical, contemporary, geographical, political, social, economic, religious, technological and cultural backgrounds. It develops intercultural awareness in humanities. It also encourages students to respect and understand the world around them.


ECO CLUB


Eco clubs in schools will empower students to participate and take up meaningful environmental activities and projects. It is a forum through which students can reach out to influence, engage their parents and neighbourhood communities to promote sound environmental behavior. It will empower students to explore environmental concepts and actions beyond the confines of a syllabus or curriculum. While everyone, everywhere asserts the importance of ‘learning to live sustainably, environment remains a peripheral issue in the formal schooling system.


CONSUMER CLUB


Consumer club is a cooperative effort to improve the knowledge of individuals about consumer rights, responsibilities, various laws relating to consumer protection and the methods to protect themselves from market manipulations. Consumer education is an essential aspect of consumer protection because it enables students to comprehend, reflect on, and act in various consuming situations based on their personal and societal requirements. It is an initiative focused on increasing consumer awareness among the general public and, in particular, among students.


MATHS CLUB


Maths club is dedicated to extra-curricular maths get-togethers that breathe new life into maths beyond the classroom. Maths club have the potential to really make a difference by feeding these attitudes back into regular lessons.


ART & CRAFT CLUB


Art & Craft Club is a fun way for students to learn about making household objects into works of art. The activities are easy, thought-provoking, and educational. It allows the students to be more creative and leaves no stone unturned to develop and enhance their aesthetic sense and help them grow into more calm and responsible individuals. Arts and crafts activities consist of moving fingers and hands, they help in developing fine motor skills.


LITERARY CLUB


Literary Club explores the various dimensions of Literature. This not only enhances the ability of writing but also brings out the innate creativity in students. It is an attempt to identify the emerging literary skills in students and to foreground their creative and artistic skills. The literary club is intended to motivate the students in preparing them for real tasks outside the classroom, making them proficient in communication skills, oratorical skills and providing the opportunity for students to showcase their talents as in the case of dramatics. Students are groomed to confidently express themselves in activities such as Just-a-minute, Debates, Spin a Yarn, Block and Tackle etc.


SCIENCE CLUB


Science club will be a valuable aid to teaching science and also a means of motivating the children for learning science. It fosters the development of skills, such as experimentation, critical thinking, and problem solving. Some concepts cannot be taught either in the classroom or in the laboratory, for such concepts science club provides better opportunities In science teaching process laboratory is considered as heart of science, curriculum where as science club is considered as the blood of it.
